How Do I Book An Appointment?

Nursing and HCA Appointments

For all pre-bookable appointments with our Nursing and HCA teams (including blood tests, ECGs, dressings, immunisations, long term condition reviews, health checks, smear tests and contraception reviews) please contact the practice on 01367 242388 to book.

GP and Other Clinician Appointments

For GP and other clinician appointments, we encourage all patients to submit an Online Consultation as early as possible using the button above (this service is available weekdays 07:00-18:00).

If you are unable to use this system or would prefer to speak to the Patient Services team, please telephone the practice on 01367 242388 and one of our Care Navigators will help you.

Additional Appointment Information

Further information about appointment bookings and what happens with your requests can be found on our appointment information pages:

How Do I Cancel An Appointment?

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please telephone the practice as soon as possible so that it can be offered to another patient.

We have an option available to leave a voicemail to cancel your appointment, please listen out for this when calling. If you choose this option, please leave your name, along with the date and time of the appointment that you wish to cancel.

If you fail to notify the practice that you are unable to attend, this will be recorded in your notes as a 'did not attend'. Persistent defaulters will be notified and may be removed from the patient list.

Missed appointments in primary care are estimated to cost the NHS around £216m per year. Please help us to give you the best service we can.

What If I Need A Home Visit?

We encourage our patients to come to the practice but we appreciate that this is not always possible. If you feel you need a home visit, please telephone the practice as early as possible, ideally before 10:00.

We can only provide home visits if you are housebound or are too unwell to visit the practice.

Home visits may be carried out by a healthcare professional from the practice, or by the Oxfordshire-wide Primary Care Visiting Service, staffed by highly skilled Emergency Care Clinicians.
